+ How does pre-positioning crews before a storm affect how quickly Cotton GDS can respond after landfall?

When our Business Intelligence Center identifies a storm with a projected impact on a region where we have clients or active operations, planning calls begin seven days out. Between 24 and 36 hours before projected landfall, we move advanced teams and pre-loaded equipment into staging areas adjacent to the predicted impact zone. Our crews are already in the region when the storm passes, rather than mobilizing from office locations after the fact. Properties that would otherwise wait days for a qualified commercial disaster response contractor to arrive can begin mitigation within hours of impact because our teams are already nearby and ready to deploy.
